Fatmir Sejdiu and Hashim Thaci are in Washington where they will meet U.S. President George Bush. Kosovo's president and prime minister have during the past three days of their visit also met with U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and Defense Secretary Robert Gates. Kosovo officials to meet Bush As for today's encounter, Sejdiu said it was the highest expression of the United States' support for Kosovo and its residents. He spoke to the Pristina-based media accompanying the delegation when he said the main topic of discussions with Bush will be strengthening of mutual ties and continued U.S. support to the Kosovo recognition process. At the same time, Thaci described the visit as "proof of the success accomplished in Kosovo".

As for today's encounter, Sejdiu said it was the highest expression of the United States' support for Kosovo and its residents.

He spoke to the Priština-based media accompanying the delegation when he said the main topic of discussions with Bush will be strengthening of mutual ties and continued U.S. support to the Kosovo recognition process.

At the same time, Thaci described the visit as "proof of the success accomplished in Kosovo".
