SDA rejected all SDP offers in Novi Pazar

The SDA today accused rival SDP of rejecting every offer for forming a local government in Novi Pazar. The coalition gathered around Sulejman Ugljanin’s SDA – the Bosniak List for A European Sandzak, stated that during the coalition negotiations with For European Novi Pazar, led by Rasim Ljajic’s SDP, they ready to form a government in all Sandzak municipalities and divide the responsibility. SDA rejected all SDP offers in Novi Pazar “In order to ensure multi-ethnicity, we proposed that some officials of the United Serb List would get 15 percent of the positions in the local government from both coalitions, so that Serbs would have 30 percent representation in all of the bodies of the Novi Pazar government,” the SDA stated. The coalition added that it is still open for all talks and that it expects "important negotiations in Belgrade" regarding the formation of a local self-government. The SDA-led parties yesterday in Novi Pazar formed a local coalition with the United Serb List, that includes Radicals (SRS) and Socialists (SPS), while the SDA coalition remained in the opposition.
