The EU supports the formation of the new government in Belgrade, and hopes Serbia will continue its integration. EU Foreign and Security Policies Chief Javier Solana said that he supported the formation of the new government, adding that the EU would fully support its efforts to “turn the vision of a European future into a political reality.” EU lauds formation of new govt. “I am looking forward to close cooperation with Prime Minister Mirko Cvetkovic and his colleagues,” Solana’s cabinet stated. “The EU expects the new government to push reforms and fulfill the conditions required for further EU integration.
