FM protests to Macedonia over demarcation

Macedonian Ambassador Aleksandar Vasilevski has been handed a strongly-worded protest note after Skopje resumed work on demarcating its border with Kosovo. According to the Serbian Foreign Ministry, such demarcation is in flagrant breach of the 2001 agreement on state frontiers between Serbia and Macedonia. FM protests to Macedonia over demarcation The ministry says that by starting demarcation of borders with Serbia adjacent to Kosovo, through cooperation with illegal Pristina institutions, the Macedonian side has shown that “it does not respect the Republic of Serbia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, and does not respect the Republic of Serbia as a party to the agreement.“
