SRS, SPS, DSS take over in Leskovac

The constitutive session of the Leskovac municipal assembly is over, with the SRS, SPS and DSS-NS taking power. The coalition has been joined by two SDP representatives. At the session, which lasted for more than 17 hours, Goran Cvetanovic from the Serb Radical Party (SRS) was appointed mayor, while Zivojin Stefanovic, one of the founders of the Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS), was appointed speaker of the assembly. DSS and Associated Pensioners Party (PUPS) councilors were appointed as their deputies. Leskovac has not had an assembly up to now, but rather a temporary authority established by the government. The previous municipal president was Vladan Marinkovic of the Democratic Party (DS).

Leskovac has not had an assembly up to now, but rather a temporary authority established by the government. The previous municipal president was Vladan Marinković of the Democratic Party (DS).
