EUFOR and local police have searched the flat of Belgrade Professor Kosta Cavoski in Pale today. The operation, conducted by a large number of EUFOR troops, began at 4:00 CET and lasted three hours. No arrests were made during the operation. According to Tanjug, Cavoski was questioned by police regarding his possible involvement in Hague fugitive Radovan Karadzic’s support network, while various documents were also taken from his flat. The professor has already been questioned by police on several occasions, and was once taken into custody at the local police station on suspicion of helping harbour Karadzic. Cavoski has publicly said that the former Republic of Srpska leader was and remains a friend of his family, adding that he is still on good terms with Karadzic’s wife and children.
