Four individuals have been arrested in Prijedor in the Republic of Srpska, accused of war crimes committed in August 1992. Damir Ivankovic, Dusan Jankovic, Zeljko Stojnic and Zoran Babic are suspected of participating in a war crime at a location on Vlasic mountain on August 21, 1992, where more than 200 Bosniak and Croat civilians were killed. Four arrested on war crimes charges The four suspects are under the investigation of the Bosnian Prosecution’s special sector for war crimes, and are accused of crimes against humanity. According to a statement from the prosecution, the four suspects will be turned over for questioning to the Bosnia-Herzegovina war crimes prosecutor, before a decision is taken on whether to remand them in custody.
