An Eagle military aircraft has crashed without exploding near Centa on the road to Sakule, in Vojvodina, B92 understands. The pilot was able to eject, and no bystanders are believed to have been injured in the incident. B92 has learned that the pilot suffered injuries and is being treated at the Military Medical Academy, though his injuries are not said to be life-threatening. Opovo Municipal President Milorad Soldatovic said that a “medical team is at the scene and the police have secured the area.” The Civil Air Travel Directorate stated that an Eagle aircraft had disappeared from their radar, adding that while such accidents were not under its jurisdiction, it would assist the Defense Ministry if required.
