The Saturday newspapers lead mostly with interviews from top officials of the biggest parties, as campaigning enters the last two weeks.

The Saturday newspapers lead mostly with interviews from top officials of the biggest parties, as campaigning enters the last two weeks. ALO—The tabloid says that violence perpetrated by the young people, reported often these days, is "Return to 1990s". Press: Party leaders dominate front pages Speaker Oliver Dulic, DS, is interviewed: "Door open for cooperation with DSS". BLIC—This front page brings an interview with Serbia's president and the Democratic Party (DS) leader Boris Tadic, with much the same message highlighted by the headline: "Cooperation with DSS if they return to European path". "Optimists until end", the presidents of Red Star and Partizan are hopeful as the football season draws to an end. VECERNJE NOVOSTI—Yet another Tadic interview: "Life first, then politics". Infrastructure Minister Velimir Ilic, NS, is quoted after his visit to Moscow yesterday and talks on energy subjects, "Privileges only after elections". GAZETA—"Voja sitting in two chairs", the tabloid says as the last two weeks of campaigning start. As for the local elections in Belgrade, the headline to the report says, "Battle for Belgrade". GLAS JAVNOSTI—Here, an interview with Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica is on the front page: "No place for Bondsteel in Serbia!". "Pentagon seeks downed F117 from museum", says that Washington would like the remains of its stealth bomber shot down over Serbia in 1999 back. "'Black Friday' without sheriff", examines whether Speaker Oliver Dulic received death treats. DANAS—"Plan to be handed to Belgrade May 7", is about the EU's action plan on future visa relaxation revealed yesterday. The newspaper also announces today's Fed Cup match between Serbia and Croatia. KURIR—The Tobacco Mafia trial is reported by the tabloid under "Repenting witnesses". "Shamelessness", is how it describes campaign manipulation of free share distribution. Vojislav Kostunica says in yet another interview: "Serbia comes first". POLITIKA—"Ruecker's adviser criticizes UNMIK and EULEX", the broadsheet picks up on a report posted here several days ago. The front page also brings an interview with Minister for Kosovo Slobodan Samardzic, DSS: "I don't care what 'circle of [number] two' thinks", he says, in reference to Belgrade's narrowest urban center. PRESS—The tabloid leads with Patriarch Pavle's Easter message: "Let's fulfill our Kosovo covenant". Kostunica leads Tadic 3-2 in the number of front page interviews in today's Belgrade press; "They want to snatch Vojvodina, too", he tells the paper.
