A member of a Bujanovac municipal security council says he will seek an urgent session over yesterday's display of Albanian and Kosovo flags. Sevdail Hiseni said he will ask Bujanovac municipal president Adnan Salihi to call the meeting after the flags were put up on the local culture center building Sunday. Bujanovac: Albanian, Kosovo flags controversy The controversial display took part as the ethnic Albanian parties from the Serbia's volatile south, the Democratic Party of Albanians (DPA) and the National Party of Albanians (NPA) held a campaign rally. The Serb members of the municipal assembly tried to raise the issue at today's regular session, but were outvoted. The director of the Home of Culture, a state-funded institution, Vjolca Sadiku, denied any responsibility for the display of the flags, saying that the premises she manages are "rented out to anyone who wishes to rent them", and that the institution "does not control what is being said, sung, or what flags are displayed at such gatherings". Sadiku also referred reporters to the Bujanovac police, MUP, with whom the organizers registered the rally.
