Valley Albanians, U.S. ambassador discuss elections Last night, Party for Democratic Action leader Riza Halimi confirmed to Tanjug that Cameron Munter had called a dinner for yesterday evening. Halimi, Democratic Union of the Valley leader Skender Destani and Party for Democratic Action deputy group head at Bujanovac Town Hall Saip Kamberi were also invited, a source said. Halimi said that he believed that Munter would meet with other political leaders as well during his two-day visit to southern Serbia, even though, as he pointed out, there were some among them who had definitely decided not to take part in the upcoming parliamentary elections on May 11. The Party for Democratic Action is, at present, considering proposals to stand on a joint ticket at the parliamentary elections with Destani's Democratic Union of the Valley and Jonuz Musliju’s Movement for Democratic Progress, and both parties have listed their conditions, Halimi said, though he did not specify whether these conditions would also be valid for a possible coalition agreement. The Party for Democratic Action ran with the Democratic Union of the Valley in last year’s parliamentary elections. The coalition was called “Albanians of the Presevo Valley” and it won one seat in the Serbian parliament.
