The SRS deputy leader said last night that the May 11 elections were a crucial moment for Serbia's redemption. Tomislav Nikolic told a group of some 3000 citizens in the center of Pirot that the time had come to decide whether the citizens would possess Serbia, or NATO, Albanians or someone else. Nikolic: May 11 vital for Serbia's redemption The Serb Radical Party (SRS) deputy leader said that his party would lead Serbia after the elections, though he stressed that it was open to cooperation with other parties. “We’ll take under our wing anyone that means Serbia well, and that wants to put an end to Serbia’s humiliation, and to pick us up from our knees and stand us on two legs. To stand like human beings, and to be treated like human beings, not to have our people chased and taken off to the Hague, to the executioner, and not to have to watch our enemies set free,“ he said. According to Nikolic, no-one would suffer from a Radical victory, and whoever eventually took power from them would inherit a peaceful, well-ordered country, where they could govern to the people’s delight. The SRS deputy leader criticized the Democratic powers, citing them to blame for unemployment, and for the fact that parents could not offer their children everything they wanted. He added that the SRS also had to win for the sake of Kosovo.
