A Kosovo NGO announced it has filed corruption charges against Hashim Thaci. The Organization for Democracy, Anticorruption and Dignity, Cohu (Rise Up), has filed criminal charges against Thaci, who is the prime minister in the Pristina government, "because he committed a criminal act of supporting a conflict of interests when he proposed the members of the Kosovo Trust Agency (KPA)". The daily also says that the Kosovo government's decision to nominate Dino Hasanaj as a member of the KPA board "was reason enough" to file criminal charges before the Kosovo Special Prosecution Office. Hasanaj is a Kosovo businessman and one of the shareholders of the IPKO Net, the second mobile operator in Kosovo. By appointing Hasanaj as a member of the KPA Management Board, Thaci "committed a technical violation of law and international principles, which define the way in which public companies are run", Cohu said in its statement.
