Kikinda New Serbia faction to join Democrats

The entire New Serbia (NS) municipal leadership in Kikinda has applied to join the Democratic Party (DS). New Serbia’s Municipal and North Banat District President Milan Veselinov told the DS municipal committee in Kikinda that he expected all the members of Kikinda’s NS members to cross over to the DS. Kikinda New Serbia faction to join Democrats Veselinov explained that the party’s Kikinda leadership had taken the decision after a meeting with Kikinda Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS) representatives who had been unable to guarantee that they would not form a coalition with the Serb Radical Party after May 11. Local DS President Branislav Bajic told a press conference that the new DS members had not spoken of their potential positions, but that Veselinov could expect to be included on the DS list in Kikinda.
