Srdjan Sreckovic says that the Serbian Renewal Movement (SPO) is negotiating with several parties ahead of elections. The SPO vice president said that the parties that the SPO worked with in 2000 are possible allies in the coming parliamentary elections. SPO considering potential coalition partners “I expect another meeting of the SPO presidency over the weekend where we will decide which parties we will be able to stand with at the elections,” Sreckovic said. The SPO stood independently at the last elections and failed to pass the census of five percent, while in 2003, it formed a coalition with New Serbia. SPO was a member of the Alliance for Change and the Together coalition with the Democratic Party and the Citizens’ Alliance of Serbia during the 1990s.
