U.S. ambassador: Koštunica must condemn violence

Cameron Munter has called on Vojislav Kostunica to condemn the attack on the U.S. embassy. In an interview with Radio Free Europe, the U.S. ambassador to Serbia said that the prime minister must condemn last week’s attacks on the American embassy and promise that he will never allow a repeat of such scenes. Burns also demanded that the protestors who entered the U.S. embassy and ransacked it be arrested and tried, and called on Kostunica to publicly state that such an attack would never happen again and to take every precaution to secure the embassy from any further such attacks.
