An international administrative group for Kosovo will be formed in Vienna, according to Tanjug. The news agency stated that the formation of the body was included within Martti Ahtisaari’s Kosovo plan, which was rejected by the United Nations Security Council. Steering group for Kosovo to be formed According to European diplomatic sources, Russia will not participate in the formation of the group, which will be led by the remaining members of the Contact Group—the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany and Italy. The group will be joined by other countries that have already recognized, or intend to recognize Kosovo’s independence. The EU’s High Official for Kosovo Peter Feith will attend the meeting on the formation of the international administrative group.

According to European diplomatic sources, Russia will not participate in the formation of the group, which will be led by the remaining members of the Contact Group—the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany and Italy.

The group will be joined by other countries that have already recognized, or intend to recognize Kosovo’s independence.

The EU’s High Official for Kosovo Peter Feith will attend the meeting on the formation of the international administrative group.
