Government calls citizens to Kosovo rally The Serb Radical Party (SRS) stated that all the parties participating in the meeting will organize transportation for their supporters around Serbia to come to Belgrade on Thursday. But President Boris Tadic said that he "does not agree with organizing the meeting through political parties, stating that Kosovo is not a party question." SRS deputy leader Tomislav Nikolic, however, told state broadcaster RTS, that he still does not know whether he would address the citizens at tomorrow’s rally. “I can address them, but Serbia wants the prime minister and president to address them at this time. So that they would not seek justice themselves on the streets. It would be nice for someone like Brana Crncevic, Matija Beckovic, to address the people, they know how to say things a lot nicer than we politicians do. But Brana Crncevic does not know what Serbia plans on doing", Nikolic said. “It looks as if we did not reach an agreement, that we did not understand each other. I hope we will meet again. I do not insist on speaking, I do not need it, I want to be with the people, but I want to hear the prime minister and president,” Nikolic said. Kosovo Minister Slobodan Samardzic told B92 that the protested should channel the dissatisfaction and serve as a public forum for protest by the citizens. He said that the parties who are most represented in the parliament will participate in the protest. “The parliament and the parliamentary parties, I am talking about those that make up 95 percent of the voter body, should agree on this. The church will also participate, all who are authentic representatives of our statehood. This is one of the moves with which we will show our dissatisfaction with what is happening,” Samardzic said.
