The U.S. and Europe’s positions on Kosovo are converging, says a top U.S. official. Opinions continue to differ as to when Kosovo independence should be recognized, said the official following a meeting in Berlin of the four permanent members of the Security Council and Germany. “U.S., European positions converging” The U.S., British, French and German foreign ministers were in Berlin to discuss Iran’s nuclear program and Tehran’s possible future moves, but in the margins of the meeting they also touched on the Kosovo crisis, reports Radio Deutsche Welle.
