Jan Kubis says that Pristina expects Russia to block Kosovo’s entry to the UN after an independence declaration. “That’s one of the prices of unilaterally declared independence“ said the Slovak foreign minister following talks with UN and NATO representatives at an international conference in Bratislava on Kosovo and Afghanistan. United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) Director Antonio Mario Costa said that stability in the region was important, as was the need to prevent a rise in crime after Kosovo independence.
