DS: Elections “as soon as possible”

Democratic Party (DS) official Dusan Petrovic says elections need to be held as soon as possible. He said that citizens should be given one more chance to decide on what direction the country to should take, and who should make those decisions, adding that he expected elections to be called in the coming weeks. DS: Elections “as soon as possible” Petrovic said that the question of elections was still open and that the DS’s position was that both presidential and local elections needed to be held as soon as possible. “The DS’s position in Vojvodina as well throughout Serbia is that we can enter coalition agreements only with political parties that have the same goals as us. And those are, namely, EU membership, speedy economic progress, and cutting crime,” Petrovic said.
