A training dedicated to operations related to crime scenes and weapons of mass destruction ended in Belgrade. The event was organized by the U.S. Defense Threat Reduction Agency, and was attended by 36 participants from five different Serbian ministries and agencies. The aim of the courses is to enable Serbia to get a well-trained and equipped team capable of reacting in case of attack, smuggling or incidents involving chemical, biological or nuclear materials. The statement said that the training had been attended by members of different organizational units of the Serbian police (MUP), the defense and justice ministries, Customs Administration and the Vinca Nuclear Research Institute.
