Serbia, Bulgaria sign police agreement

Interior Minister Dragan Jocic and his Bulgarian counterpart Rumen Petkov yesterday signed a bilateral agreement. The document regulates cross-border police cooperation, and is, according to officials, set to strengthen the security of the entire region, as well as of EU member-states. Serbia, Bulgaria sign police agreement Jocic and Petkov told reporters in Belgrade after the signing that there is need to intensify and harmonize the operational cooperation between the two countries' police forces. They also voiced readiness to cooperate in the sector of education and training for police officers.
