Ivo Sanader said that an international warrant for the arrest of Miroslav Radic will be issued. Answering questions from officials of the Croatian Assembly yesterday, the Croatian prime minister reminded that his country's state prosecutor’s office indicted the Vukovar Three and other top officials of the Yugoslav People’s Army (JNA) back in 1992. Sanader said that he personally wanted to know why there was never a court process in Croatia against the Vukovar Three and chief officials of the JNA, adding that he is not satisfied with the answer that it is not usual practice for defendants to be tried in absentia.
