Sreten Jocic, aka Joca Amsterdam, is participating in auctions for the sale of several companies. Jocic is currently under investigation for his involvement in the murder of Goran Marjanovic and is free on EUR 300,000 bail. Shady businessman takes part in auction Through a legal representative, Jocic has been submitting bids to the Privatization Agency and increasing the values of several bids. Jocic has reportedly bought Eko-Hrana from Boljevac, and told journalists today that he was interested in buying several more companies, but that the prices were already too high. The Economy and Regional Development Ministry has prepared changes to the Privatization Law that will prohibit those under criminal investigation or convicted of crimes to participate in auctions for public or state property.
