The Russian ambassador to Serbia says a unilateral proclamation of Kosovo independence is the worst of all solutions. "I believe they (talks) will represent an opportunity for a much wider discussion between the two parties throughout October and November, the Russian diplomat said. For our part, we have called on the two parties to put forward possible compromise solutions, to consider constructive and creative ideas, fresh ideas, which might encourage the other side to accept a constructive approach," he added. Along with Botsan-Kharchenko, the Troika comprises the EU and U.S. representatives, Wolfgang Ischinger and Frank Wisner.

Botsan-Kharchenko still upbeat after London talks
