Vojislav Kostunica says his cabinet is weighing various options for a possible "negative Kosovo outcome". "If someone inflicts damage upon you, then you, according to the circumstances and the situation, must respond in kind, inflicting back some damage as well." Asked whether his Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS) ministers' recent concerted anti-NATO rhetoric might damage the country's efforts to join the Euro-Atlantic integrations, Kostunica said that no state institution thus far made its position on Serbia's membership in the Alliance known. "We have made statements exclusively pertaining to membership in the Partnership for Peace," Kostunica told reporters after today's session marking his cabinet's 100 days in office.
