Partizan FC disqualified from UEFA Cup

Partizan won the match by a score of 6-1 and was to square off with Zrinjski in a rematch on Thursday in Belgrade.

An appeal against the verdict may be lodged within three days of the sending of the reasoned decision, UEFA said on its website.

The decision was taken after examining the report of the UEFA disciplinary inspector and hearing evidence from Partizan officials.

Subject to any appeal proceedings, Zrinjski will progress to the second qualifying round, the statement ended.
