“Dulić may change Parliamentary procedure rules”

“New rules should invest the Speaker with a larger scope of authority, and transfer major liabilities onto caucus chiefs,” Goati told Beta news agency.

“It must be understood that a day lasts only 24 hours, and Serbia has to pass a vast number of laws and bills so as to properly function as a state,” he stressed.

When asked whether the opposition managed to obstruct the Parliament in sessions held last week, he replied that the opposition was set to explore every possibility in the Parliament so as to fulfill its political goals.

“The Serbian Parliament is congested with numerous bills whose adoption is urgent. In my opinion, differences among parliamentary parties are growing wider, particularly with reference to relations between the Serb Radical Party (SRS) and the Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS),” he said.
