Superman no longer safe in Serbia
"Toward the end of my research I searched the Web using the mineral's chemical formula -- sodium lithium boron silicate hydroxide -- and was amazed to discover that same scientific name, written on a case of rock containing kryptonite stolen by Lex Luther from a museum in the film 'Superman Returns,'" Stanley told the BBC.Finding the chemical composition was an identical match to an invented formula for the rock that saps Superman's strength "was the coincidence of a lifetime," he said.
Because the periodic table already contains krypton and the new rock has nothing to do with it, it will be named Jadarite for the town where it was first found, the report said.
