Šešelj examined in civilian hospital

The Hague spokesman Refik Hodžić told journalists Šešelj was transferred to the civilian hospital Bronovo, where he was set to undergo detailed examination.

“Mr. Šešelj has notified the Tribunal that he will, after receiving the Chamber of Appeals decision, stop his hunger strike and start taking food and medication. The doctors will now assess how long it will take for him to recover so that he could show up in the courtroom, and that is when the trial will restart”, Hodžić said.

Šešelj will be transferred back to his Scheveningen cell after a short stay at the Bronovo hospital.

Vojislav Šešelj ended his 27-day hunger strike yesterday.
