Belgrade Arena set to open

Several concerts meant to open the venue were already cancelled earlier this year due to failure to comply with safety standards.

50 Cent will take the stage at the Belgrade Arena tomorrow evening.

“We told him the space he will perform in matches his status of a superstar, that it’s a new venue and that he will officially open it. 50 Cent had many offers from the region, we are happy he chose us, we gave him an offer he could not refuse”, organizers Sky Music PR Slavica Pešić explains.

It took 15 years to build the Belgrade Arena. 30 million euros were invested in the construction in the past six years alone. In order for it to start making profit, the nearly 20,000 seats arena would have to be sold out 220 to 260 days a year.
