The Financial Times writes that American Evangelists are joining the campaign against Kosovo independence.

Evangelists support Serbia?

Raško-prizrenska Vladika Artemije said that the two televangelists have promised that they will inform their followers of the goal to keep Kosovo a part of Serbia and use their influences to sway the public opinion in the US.

“They informed me that they have friends at the highest level of the government and that they will call on them to help make sure that Kosovo remains within the borders of Serbia. Independence would create a base for an extremist Islamic Jihad and put the Balkans, Europe and the US in danger.” Artemije said.

He added that conservative Islamic supporters and Al-Qaeda members would enter the region which is, under the United Nations, a black hole in Europe, ruled by criminal groups and drug and weapons dealers, while killers and desecraters of churches and cemeteries will be in a position of being able to root out the Christian community in Kosovo completely.
