Serbia attractive to foreign investors

lić said that this can be seen by the increase in foreign investments, which should reach about two billion dollars by the end of the year.

He said that since 2001, when foreign investments for the year totalled 100 million dollars, the rate has constantly been growing and reach 1.5 billion dollars last year.

Ilić said that the changes made to the income tax laws decreased the amount of strain on income from 14 to 12 percent and stimulates the employment of people under the age of 30, helps employ the disabled, and provides tax relaxation and tax credits for investment in fields such as agriculture, textiles and industry.
