YALTA Russian President Vladimir Putin left his Ukrainian counterpart Viktor Yanukovych waiting for his arrival for hours on Thursday in Yalta, according to reports. Putin eventually met with Yanukovych at the Crimean seaside resort, to discuss cooperation between the two countries, especially in the military and energy sphere, as well as the status of the Russian language in Ukraine. Putin has been know to attend the group's gatherings in the past. After a chat with his friends to motorists, who, according to AFP, included legendary Russian biker known as "Surgeon", Putin finally left to attend his meeting with Yanukovych. "President Putin has exceeded all boundaries of delays. He went to meet with the bikers and their friends and so showed what priorities in Ukraine are," Ukraine's Emergency Situations Minister Viktor Balog posted on his Facebook account. Balog's massage to the Kremlin was also to "change the tune", since Putin during the meeting failed to offer any concessions to Ukraine in their gas dispute. Former Ukrainian Foreign Minister Vladimir Ogrizko believes that this behavior of the Russian president was "a diplomatic slap in the face and an indecency".
