Al-Jazeera paid USD 40,5 million to acquire Cine5 TV channel in an auction and it is planned it will launch a news channel in Turkey.
The Qatar TV network is the largest in the Islamic world and continues expanding. Recently it decided to start broadcasting from Sarajevo, Bosnia-Herzegovina.
