And we are very optimistic about Afghanistan too,” Holbrooke pointed out. Holbrooke criticized the media for terming the operations in Afghanistan a “Clash of Civilizations”, adding that the overall objective of the Afghan initiative is to help the country rebuild after its 30 years of "horrific conflicts".
