This year's Vilnius Film Festival has declared two films the winners in the competition program "New Europe - New Names."

Uliks Fehmiu wins best actor award at Vilnius Festival
The festival was held from March 31 until April 14, with this program "aiming to discover and appreciate debuting directors from Central and Eastern Europe."Uliks Fehmiu from Serbia received the best actor award for his performance in “Our Everyday Life," the festival said.
The Europe – New Names program were also judged by the International Confederation of Art Cinemas CICAE jury who awarded the Serbian film “A Good Wife”, directed by Mirjana Karanovic.
“Under the Sun”, directed by Ukrainian Vitaly Mansky won the award for Best Film in the Baltic Gaze competition program, while Lithuanian Mantas Kvedaravicius won the Best Director award for his documentary “Mariupolis" in the same category.
