"Trapped" Serbian citizen follower of Wahhabis?

"We knew he was in Yemen and nothing else. He was with us in Germany until he met some Arabs, some Wahhabis I guess. They snatched him away from our lives, since then, it's as if we don't have him. They took him away, simply took him," Gegic was quoted as saying.

His mother, on the other hand, said she "only cared that Muhedin is safe - he can go where he wants later."

The Gegics, Bosniaks (Muslims) from Serbia, live in Germany. Muhedin's first wife also lives with the family.

Muhedin, who earlier this week spoke to Serbia's broadcaster RTS to say he was hoping Serbian embassies would help him leave the war-torn country, is married to a Yemeni woman now, and has four children with her.
