International student festival of folklore opens

The 6th International Student Festival of Folklore, which brings together around 400 folklore dancers from Serbia and abroad, opened in Niš on Tuesday.

NIS The 6th International Student Festival of Folklore, which brings together around 400 folklore dancers from Serbia and abroad, opened in Nis on Tuesday. "We have students from Indonesia, Mexico, Bulgaria, Romania, Slovenia and Serbia who will show how folk tradition is nurtured in their countries," Misa Jovic, director of the Nis Student Cultural Center which organizes the event, told Tanjug. International student festival of folklore opens "Over the coming days, the audience will enjoy a rich and diverse program showcasing various cultures. It will be performed by close to 250 participants from abroad and 150 from Serbia," said Jovic.
