NOVI SAD -- Headliners Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds gave "a performance to remember" on the closing night of the EXIT music festival on Sunday, says Tanjug.
Just before Cave's performance on the festival's Main Stage, which started a few minutes after 11 p.m., the audience at the Petrovaradin Fortress in Novi Sad, northern Serbia, was treated to "beautiful, colorful fireworks," the news agency reported.
Besides their greatest hits, Cave and his great band played a number of songs from their comeback album “Push the Sky Away.”
Another Main Stage headliner was Block Party, while the American band Prong and the Serbian band Orthodox Celts performed for the audience in the mood for some great rocking at the Fusion Stage.
The extremely popular Dance Arena was swarmed with a huge number of visitors who came to have good time at the biggest music festival in the Balkans and one of the biggest in Europe.
The band Rudimental called off its performance, and the organizers explained that the band "did not manage to get to Serbia as their flight from London to Belgrade via Frankfurt they was canceled and even the band's equipment went somewhere else."
