CUPRIJA Serbian Army (VS) members over the weekend carried out military exercise Resava 2013 at the Pasuljanske Livade training range near Cuprija, central Serbia. Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic congratulated the soldiers on a successful exercise, and VS Ground Troops Commander Lt. Gen. Aleksandar Zivkovic presented the president with "a small replica of the M-84 tank," Tanjug reported. Ljubisa Dikovic was also present, as was Chairman of Parliament Committee on Defense and Internal Affairs Dusan Bajatovic, and foreign defense attaches in Serbia. Around 1,000 members of the Serbian military took part in the exercise, demonstrating the level of training of the brigade and battalion commands and units in preparing, planning and executing exercises and acts of combat.
