BELGRADE According to media reports, it has been confirmed that a boy whose body was recovered from the Danube on April 29 is the son of a presidential advisor. The 16-year-old is the son of Jasmina Mitrovic-Maric, Belgrade-based daily Blic is reporting. He went missing, presumed drowned, on March 23. Body of presidential advisor's son recovered from river 64-year-old Ismet Fekovic drowned along with him. His body was found last week in the Danube, near the hydropower plant in the Djerdap Gorge. The tabloid Alo writes that a DNK analysis confirmed the identity of the boy, whose remains were found floating in the river between Kostolac and Ram in eastern Serbia. According to these reports, Fekovic was found on the Romanian side of the river and identified by "the shoes and the clothes found on the body." On March 23, eyewitnesses saw a boat with two persons in it capsize on the Sava River in Makis, near Belgrade. The two victims "sank very rapidly, and none of the passers by could help them," the eyewitnesses said. Fekovic lived in a pile dwelling on the river's banks, while the boy's family had a cottage nearby.
