BELGRADE Catholic Archbishop of Belgrade Stanislav Hocevar has sent his Easter message, saying that the goal of the feast was to "live life in love, truth and freedom." That is the only way to create a true and lasting community, he noted. Beta news agency reported that Hocevar recalled the numerous jubilees being marked this year - the 1,700th anniversary of the Edict of Milan, 1,150 years since the arrival of the saints Cyril and Methodius in the region Pannonia, and the 50th anniversary of the Second Vatican Synod of Bishops. "All this inspires us this year at Easter to celebrate so many achievements in history," the archbishop said. He wished all Catholic believers a happy Easter, and also whose observed the Julian calendar and would be celebrating later.
