NOVI SAD Several dozens of Novi Sad citizens gathered at a protest against growing violence among children and teenagers on Sunday. “Let us show that we care and that we want a safe city and a safe country. There has been enough violence against children and among children,” organizers wrote on their Facebook page. Citizens protest against violence in Novi Sad The main reason for the protest was a recent shootout near an elementary school and a kindergarten in Novi Sad. “We are all to blame - parents, families, police, the city, prosecution… There are concrete measures that we can take immediately that do not require any money, just good will,” a member of a Parents’ Council of the elementary school in front of which the shooting took place told reporters.
