World's best tennis player Novak Đoković was in his hometown on Wednesday where he visited the Anton Skala elementary school for special needs children.

BELGRADE World's best tennis player Novak Djokovic was in his hometown on Wednesday where he visited the Anton Skala elementary school for special needs children. He presented the Belgrade school with a donation of RSD 5.5 million (some EUR 50,000), that will be used to build a new schoolyard. Djokovic presents donation to special needs school Djokovic, his girlfriend Jelena Ristic, and mother Dijana spent time with the children who prepared a show in his honor. "It is my pleasure to be able to help in the realization of a project which was named best in the world in a UNESCO contest back in 2008. I am glad the children will have the chance to play and develop in a new yard, and spend time with their peers since there are a lot of schools in this neighborhood," said Djokovic. On Thursday Djokovic will visit Andricgrad in Visegrad in the Serb Republic (RS) and support the ongoing project to build the town as a memorial to Serb Nobel Prize winner Ivo Andric - the idea launched by film director Emir Kusturica.
