B92 dominates Status magazine awards

BELGRADE According to Status magazine’s poll, B92 is the best TV station, news website and radio station in 2012. B92’s journalist Suzana Trninic won the Best Journalist Award for 2012. According to 200 journalists from 40 news desks who took part in the Status’ annual poll, B92 remains the best in all media segments it covers. B92 managed to keep the status of the best TV and radio station and unlike last year, won the award for the best news website. B92 also won awards for the best TV program and TV personality as well for the best radio program. “It matters the most when your colleagues say you are doing a good job. I have had a privilege to have my colleagues at B92 tell me all the time that I am doing a good job and they have always been my biggest support but when the rest of the colleagues from 40 news desks say and honor you this way, then I must be doing something good,” Trninic said at the award ceremony. (B92) B92 TV kept the top spot among national, regional and local TV stations, leaving behind Prva TV and RTS. According to the Status’ poll, B92 TV’s strongest points are news programs and high-quality sports program. In the best TV program category, B92 TV won the first three places - Impression of the Week talk show, 17:30 news and Insider. (B92) “This year, B92 completely won in all categories it has, we still do not have the newspaper and a columnist but I think this is a great recognition for all of us and for everything we have done. Unlike last year, B92 TV won another award in the TV personality category - Trninic won the second place thanks to her thoroughness, eloquence and pleasant appearance. B92’s Ljubica Gojgic once again won the second place in the best journalist category. Just like last year, Radio B92 convincingly won the award for the best radio station with almost 50 percent of the votes. Journalists who voted for B92 Radio say that the main reasons are excellent news programs and interesting music shows. Unlike last year when only one B92 Radio's show won the award, B92 Radio's shows won the first two places in the best radio show category this year - Kaziprst (Pointer finger) and Brakus From 3 to 5.
