A second incubator was on Monday donated to the Children's Clinic in Tuzla, eastern Bosnia, as part of B92 Fund's Battle for the Babies humanitarian campaign.

TUZLA A second incubator was on Monday donated to the Children's Clinic in Tuzla, eastern Bosnia, as part of B92 Fund's Battle for the Babies humanitarian campaign. In Bosnia, the campaign is being carried out in partnership with the telecommunications company m:tel. Recently, another machine was delivered to the clinic - a donation of the Dreager company. The clinic's director, Prof. Dr. Fahrija Skokic, attended the official presentation of the donation, along with m:tel's spokesperson Aida Halilovic. Skokic addressed those gathered to stress the value that the donation had for the clinic, and explained that many children were born prematurely in the area and in need of the treatment provided by incubators. She thanked all m:tel subscribers who contributed toward the funds, and noted that a baby was already being treated in the donated incubator. Halilovic also thanked all those who gave money, saying that they in this way "surely saved many new lives - which is of great importance for all of us and our future". She noted that, as part of the campaign, health care institutions in Banja Luka, Sarajevo, Doboj, Derventa, Mostar, Tuzla, Mrkonjic Grad, the Brcko District and Trebinje also received incubators, and called on all citizens and companies in that country to join the campaign, that is set to last until the end of this year. The m:tel spokesperson also announced that during next week more incubators would be given to hospitals in Prijedor, Sarajevo, and East Sarajevo. The new incubator was bought using the money collected via m:tel's humanitarian number 1411.
