Switzerland's Roger Federer took the top spot on the ATP list from Serbia's Novak Djokovic, after the Serb's 53 week-long rule. Federer defeated Scot Andy Murray on Sunday, winning his seventh title at Wimbledon and the 17th Grand Slam of his career, equaling Pete Sampras in the number of weeks spent at the top - 286.
