The bikers are headed to Kosovska Mitrovica where a concert will be held tonight at 20:00 CET.
Harley Davidson Club Serbia President Milić Radević, who organized the action, said that several hundreds of bikers from Serbia, Republic of Srpska (RS) and Russia were headed to Kosovo.
According to him, the action is aimed at cheering up the people in the southern Serbian province of Kosovo with music and positive energy.
“Groups of bikers from Niš, Čačak and Kragujevac, including bikers from Montenegro, Macedonia and Herzegovina, will join the caravan which left from Belgrade,” Radević explained.
“We are going to Kosovo with guitars on our back and we will fight to the last drop of gas. We are going to sing, play and make our people happy,” he added.
Several Serbian bands will perform at the tonight’s concert, including Galija and Yu Grupa.
Radević pointed out that they had already informed the Kosovo police of their arrival and that he did not expect any problems at the Rudnica crossing “because the bikers have proven that they are not coming to Kosovo to cause problems but to help the Serbian people”.
He stressed that the bikers donated blood in the Kosovska Mitrovica Health Center earlier and announced that they would send medicines to the Serbian enclaves this year.
